The left has become completely unglued, and they are not shy about showing it. The Democratic Party is becoming infamous for their double standards, and what happened recently was no exception. However, when Ted Lieu, one of our nation’s most unstable Congressmen who represents the ultra-liberal state of California, decided to call our White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders “dumb as a rock,” he was not prepared for the reality check that was about to strike him.
Ted Lieu has a reputation for being one of the most unhinged Congressmen you will ever find. He loves to sit behind his computer, blasting nasty remarks at Republicans instead of doing his job. Although he is one of the many Democrats who continuously complain about sexism and how much Republicans supposedly hate women, it turns out that he’s projecting his own thoughts and behaviors on others.
Most recently, Lieu saw that Sanders commented on last week’s report that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC may have funded research for the reports that tried to link Donald Trump to Russia, and Lieu was instantly triggered. Sanders tweeted what we’ve all be thinking, that the shocking report was evidence of “collusion” by the Clinton camp, but Lieu apparently didn’t agree.
The evidence Clinton campaign, DNC & Russia colluded to influence the election is indisputable->https://t.co/nLRAMrJK3c

Instead of keeping his personal opinion to himself or firing back with reason, like a true Congressman should, Lieu let his emotions get the better of him and sent out a tweet to Sanders that was nothing more than a cheap shot, to say the least, calling her “dumb as a rock” for no apparent reason.
Lieu’s tweet read, “Dear dumb as a rock @PressSec: Remember how Clinton campaign & DNC kept talking about Steele Dossier before last Nov elections? Me neither.”

A majority of the internet agreed that for a Congressman, his comment and name-calling was a low blow, especially when made to a White House press secretary. If Lieu thought his disrespectful comment to Sanders was going to be taken lightly, he was sadly mistaken. Twitter instantly blew up, slamming Lieu for his nasty remark.
I don’t care what she says, there are more appropriate ways for a Member of Congress to be critical of the White House Press Secretary. https://t.co/7q6TLZf800

Wow, Mr. Lieu. With all due respect, you really think it’s appropriate to use a sexist trope to express disagreement w/Ms. Huckabee Sanders? https://t.co/s2Ws34H7zQ

According to Townhall, after facing a slew of angry tweets for his rude comment, Lieu did what Democrats do best and blamed President Donald Trump, explaining he was merely taking a page out of Trump’s playbook. “I lifted the phrase from the President of the United States,” Lieu reasoned, adding that he gives the same treatment to men in Trump’s White House.
No matter what his excuse, there is no reason to call Sanders such names. She has done nothing but proven her intelligence and capability in her job. As if the embarrassment wasn’t enough, Lieu broke a code along the way.
According to Breitbart, “Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) was recently re-elected to his second term in Congress, representing a large chunk of West Los Angeles. He was also recently promoted to Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. In addition to obeying his oath of office, Rep. Lieu is subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) — including Article 88, which prohibits commissioned officers, in or out of uniform, from using ‘contemptuous words’ against the president and other high officials.”
Liberals just sink lower and lower, while receiving no significant discipline for their actions, allowing them to continue their cycle of abuse and assault against anyone on the right. If a Republican Congressman called a woman “dumb as a rock,” our nation’s Democrats would be having a field day. Lieu’s insult of a powerful woman should cost him his platform, just like it would any Republican.
